Bacon Poblano Mac and Cheese
This is a basic stovetop mac and cheese recipe, plus a little kick. Good in stuffed mushrooms but try a smaller pasta like ditalini and add some more salt and paprika |
3 C pasta (a box, macaroni is the obvious choice) ¼ C butter 3 pepper, poblano ¼ C flour, all-purpose 2 C half and half 2 C cheese, cheddar (extra sharp, shredded) 1 C cheese, mexican blend (shredded) ½ tsp salt 1 pinch black pepper 1 tsp mustard, dry ½ lb. bacon (or more!) |
