Bourbon Chicken

4 chicken breasts (cut into bite-size chunks or strips)
2 Tbsp vinegar, apple cider
1 tsp ginger, ground
1 Tbsp honey
4 oz soy sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp onion, dried
½ C sugar, brown
¼ C bourbon
1 Tbsp garlic (minced)
1 Tbsp oil, vegetable
2 tsp corn starch (if desired)


Instructions

  1. Mix together ginger, soy sauce, onion flakes, sugar, bourbon, garlic powder, and garlic

  2. Marinate chicken in mixture overnight in a refrigerator

  3. Heat a wok/pan with vegetable oil

  4. Cook chicken in oil

  5. When cooked through, remove chicken

  6. If desired, thicken with corn starch (mix corn starch and cold water together before adding in)and simmer to use as a sauce
