Pork Meatball sandwiches
Recipe from from a website, called Banh Mi I believe

ingredients below only reflect the meatballs. If you'd like it made into a sandwich, check out the last step in the instructions.
1 lb. pork, ground
2 Tbsp basil, fresh (finely chopped)
2 Tbsp cilantro (finely chopped)
4 clove garlic (minced)
¼ C onion (finely chopped)
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1 Tbsp hot sauce (they suggest sriracha)
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp corn starch
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt, kosher

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, roll meat into 12 meatballs - they suggest 'tablespoon sized balls' but that sounds too small.

  3. Cover with plastic wrap, chill for 1/2-24 hours.

  4. Preheat oven to 350.

  5. Heat a few tbsp of oil in skillet, drop meatballs in a few at a time to sear - about 1 minute per side

  6. Put seared meatballs on tray (may want a new tray if yours is refrigerator temperature now) and pop into oven about 10 minutes, of until 160 degrees F.

  7. To complete sandwich, put on a toasted baguette with a sriracha mayo (mayo, onion, sriracha, and salt), topped with cilantro, fresh jalapeno, and julienned carrots and radishes as desired.
