Sweet Chile Sauce

2 C vinegar, rice
1 C sugar, brown
1 Tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt, kosher
4 clove garlic (smashed)


Instructions

  1. Bring all to a boil, then simmer until sugar and salt dissolve plus another 5-10 minutes

  2. Set aside, remove garlic cloves before serving
